Let's talk about Elora!

She's one of my favourite characters in the entire trilogy. I adore her drive, her no-nonsense spark, and the rest of her inherent qualities that make her a leader. 95% of that came from Melissa Disney's delivery.

The concept art for Elora (by Nicholas Kole) is stunning. I love the hair - updated, yet still keeps its length and colour, the leafy garment and thick grass braced around her wrists, the slit in her left ear, and the fluff of her fur. I grew attached to Elora's original design (though, it leaves much to the imagination lmao), but I do love some of the smaller changes to make this redesign work, like the removal of the purple eyeshadow. The decision to strip her of her human half was bold, but it works.
